چکیده
Integrated optics is an extreme useful technology for the production of high sensitive and compact devices for biosensing purposes. Devices can be further integrated in complete lab-on-a-chip platforms for point-of-care diagnostics. Keywords-optical biosensor; interferometer; point-of-care; microfluidics, grating couplers.

Field effect transistor nanobiosensors: State-of-the-art and key challenges as point of care testing devices
The existing health care systems focus on treating diseases rather than preventing them. Patients are generally not tested unless physiological symptoms are appeared. When they do get tested, the results often take several days and can be inconclusive if the disease is at an early stage. In order to facilitate the diagnostics process and make tests more readily available for patients, the conce...

LLE Review, Volume 72 209 A noninvasive optical diagnostic technique for testing the electrical state of an integrated circuit has been developed at LLE. The interferometric probe is capable of distinguishing between the onand off-state of an N-channel field-effect transistor (FET) with micron-size dimensions. Continued development of advanced semiconductor devices relies on the availability of...

Great progress in optics, electronic engineering, and computer science provide an opportunity to diagnosis of skin diseases, estimating effectiveness of drugs and skin care products using non-invasive, non-destructive methods of analysis. Also many noninvasive methods using analytic devices are developed to assessment of the outcomes of dermatologic surgeries on malignant skin tumors. The aim o...
متن کاملAdvances in paper-based point-of-care diagnostics.
Advanced diagnostic technologies, such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), have been widely used in well-equipped laboratories. However, they are not affordable or accessible in resource-limited settings due to the lack of basic infrastructure and/or trained operators. Paper-based diagnostic technologies are affordable, user-friendly, rapid, robust,...
